I have been a patient at Retina Consultants since 1990 when at age 32, I had a detached retina. Dr. Charles Vygantas did my surgery and responsible for the wonderful care of my eyes/retina until he retired. Now I am in the care of Dr. John Galasso, he treats me with the same care and compassion as Dr. V. did. I highly recommend Dr. Galasso and the medical staff at Retina Consultants.
I have sent my daughter there, she sees Dr. Shapiro and is also very pleased with jus care and treatment if her eyes. I have referred two friends.
So that should show the type of practice this is.

I started my journey over 6 years ago with Dr. Blair. My manacular dementia was in both eyes. Dr. Blair and the staff have gotten me from a shot in both eyes every month to no shots for 2 years now. Although much of the staff has changed over this time, they are always kind and respectful.

I went to see Dr. Garcia for floaters and flashing in one of my eyes. I was given a thorough examination and felt confident that Dr. Garcia gave me a proper diagnosis. My only complaint is that when I returned for a second appointment, I wasn't told ahead of time that I was going to be getting the same examination as I did the first appointment, including having my eyes dilated.
I would have had my husband do the driving; as it was, I was somewhat anxious driving home.

I had an Appointment on 10/6, for an Injection to correct a Macular Edema. I was nervous about having an Injection in My Eye.
The Medical Assistant was Phenomenal! She was Friendly, Compassionate, Empathetic and Professional. She had a profound calming effect on me. She Numbed My Eye Completely. Dr Blair came in, inserted the Eyelid Spreader and in 2 Seconds the Painless Injection was done. It was Painless. I'm so Thankful and Grateful for Dr. Blair and,His Staff.

The people are friendly, kind and efficient. Dr. Galazzo and the staff I interacted with gave me confidence in their treatment. Also, I appreciate the covid protections.
